Rola 21x55 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Lexus ES 350- Video

Today on this Lexus ES350, we're going to be test fitting the 21 by 55 Rola Cargo Carrier, part number 59507. Now this cargo carrier has a 300 pound carrying capacity. It has this great flooring here, which makes it easy to clean. It also has these points on either side, plus these rails which you can use as tie down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. It also has mounts for lights or reflectors should you need them. Now I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. With the cargo carrier installed measuring from the bumper, we've added about 26 1/2 inches to the edge here. more

Surco Products Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Lexus ES 350- Video

Today on this 2008 Lexus ES 350 we're going to testing the 20 by 48 Surco Cargo Carrier, part number 52017. You can see here, it as as nice mesh floor here which makes it easy to clean as well as a rail system all the way around the cargo carrier, which can serve as a tie down point for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. With installed, we've added about 22 inches. That's going to be to this rail here. Our ground clearance to this point here is going to be about 9 inches. The closest point to the end of this rail is going to be about a half an inch. Now, the exhaust on this vehicle is going to be dual exhaust, so it's fairly close to the cargo carrier. You might want to take that into consideration when you're loading any heat sensitive material to keep it more towards the center. more

Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Lexus RX 350- Video

Today on our 2014 Lexus RX350, we've got the Stromberg Carlson 23 by 60 cargo carrier. This has been designed for use in 2-inch hitches and it offers a 500-pound weight capacity. Part number on it is CC-100. You notice the mesh here, the expanded steel on the floor, nice large open pockets. That's going to allow a lot of that even larger dirt and debris to fall right down through onto the ground so you don't have to worry about it building up on top of the carrier. Also got a raised edge. more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Lexus RX 350- Video

Today on our 2014 Lexus RX350, we got the Maxx Tow 21 by 48 cargo carrier here. We're going to test fit it and see how it fits against the vehicle. This cargo carrier is almost a full aluminum construction. It's going to be really, really light weight. It's designed for use in 2 inch hitches and with the main steel support here that comes out of the receiver tube, it still offers a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is MT70422. Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Lexus RX 350- Video

Today, on our 2014 Lexus RX350, we've got the Let's Go Aero Gear Cage. This is a 32" x 48" cargo carrier. It's got the nice raised rails all the way around the outside. It's been designed for use in 2" hitches and it's going to offer us a 300-pound weight capacity. The part number on it is HCR222. The first thing that really stands out is going to be the solid floor on this carrier. This is going to allow us to transport a lot of those items that we would be worried about falling through the expanded steel floors that we typically see in most carriers. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Lexus RX 350- Video

Today on our 2014 Lexus RX350, we've got the Curt 20 by 60 Folding Cargo Carrier here. We're going to test fit it and get a few measurements and see how it fits the vehicle. This cargo carrier's been designed to hold up to 500 pounds and it's for use with 2 inch hitches, so Class 3s or Class 4s will work out really well there. We've got a nice raised edge, it's going to go all the way around our cargo carrier. It's kind of in the medium range of the spectrum, but it gives us really good side to side and front to back stability. It's about 5 1/2 inches off the platform and it also gives us a lot of nice connection points around here so we can get our gear secure. The open or expanded steel floor is going to allow all that dirt and debris and moisture to fall down and out and these are really good about getting some of the gear out of your car, so you can free up some room inside. more

Today on our 2014 Lexus RX350 we're test fitting the curb 20 x 60 cargo carrier. Have designed this for use in two inch hitches that offers a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number on it is C18150. We've got a nice raised edge that goes all the way around here. You can see that is going to provide several attachment points to secure our gear down in to place. It's about five and a half inches off our platform so it's going to give us good front to back and side to side stability as well. We got what I call here like a medium size expanded steel. more

Starting with our nearest point it's going to be about three inches from here to our bumper. Overall we've added about twenty-two inches, twenty-two and a half inches to our vehicle. more
